Import into FDT
Open Eclipse with FDT installed and follow the steps through the menus as marked out below to open the templates window. Once that is done you can add the snippets to the templates by importing the XMLs from the unpacked fdt_templates.zip
Once imported, you can insert templates by typing the short name e.g. "prop" for "property" and hit CTRL + SPACE.
Open FDT templates window on Windows
Window -> Preferences -> FDT -> Editor -> Templates
Open FDT templates window on Mac OS X
Eclipse -> Preferences -> FDT -> Editor -> Templates
Import into Flex
To import snippets into Flex, just follow this tutorial.
