Browsers
Our goal is to make BxCMS work on all important browsers. Unfortunately due to our limited resources currently, this is not always possible (and not everyone agrees, which browsers are important 
)
This list is only meant for the Admin part. The "public" part of the CMS is of course accessible by any browser
Supported Browsers for the Admin
Currently, the Admin Interface basically supports the following browsers
- Mozilla 1.x (Mozilla 1.7.7 has bugs and is not recommended for the wysiwyg editors)
- Mozilla Firefox >= 1.0 (Firefox 1.0.3 has bugs and are not recommended for the wysiwyg editors)
- Netscape 7.x
- MSIE for Windows
- Safari for OS X >= 1.2
- Opera >= 8.0
- Konqueror >= 3.4
We highly recommend using one of the Mozilla browsers.
Not supported Browsers for the Admin
Following browsers do not work (mostly due to missing XMLHTTPRequest implementation)
- Opera < 8.0
- MSIE for Mac
- Netscape <= 4.7
- Konqueror <= 3.4
Browsers for WYSIWYG Editors
For some editors, special browser requirements have to met
Mozilla 1.7.x and Firefox 0.9.x have a serious bug in the XML serialization if used with the XHTML namespace. <strong>We strongly recommend not using these releases, if you want to use one of the 2 WYSIWYG Editors mentioned below</strong>
